Step 1: Creative Direction

➞ Do you have a vision for your brand yet you’re not sure how to express it in photos?

➞ A personal brand and business contains far more than portraits of yourself or team. An essential step for all good brand photography is to work through what your visual identity IS.

➞ Do you spend your days working on your business or even the visual identity of other brands but don’t have time to look at your own? Part of this brand photography process is collaborating closely on what the photoshoot will involve in order to express your unique voice.

➞ We’ll work together over a creative consult going over a creative brand questionnaire to build a photoshoot that captures it all. We’ll dive deep into your ‘why’ and come up with how best we can tell your brand story through photography.

Step 2: Building

➞ From everything we’ve gathered going through your brand questionnaire and on our creative consult, I’ll go to work and design a tailored visual inspiration for your brand through various mood boards, different scenes and look options.

➞ This includes photo inspiration, location recommendations, wardrobe suggestions, shot inspiration, studio considerations, professional hair and make up options, and ideal props specific to you and your brand. You’ll see an entire game-plan designed out for you and your brand.

➞ This stage is collaborative in nature and intended to be worked on with specific attention to where you’ll use the final gallery of images. We’ll work and refine these boards as much as we need to in order to feel 100% ready to shoot.

Step 3: Make the Art

➞ It’s shoot day! I offer plenty of guidance throughout our photoshoot, so no need to stress over how to pose or feeling awkward in front of the camera.

➞ We’ll have our design boards with us to keep us on track.

➞ After the shoot, images are processed, edited, and delivered via online gallery with a commercial release form so your photos are ready to be used in any capacity for your brand.

  • From start to finish, this experience has raised the bar for everything brand photography should be! Elizabeth took the stress out of the whole process, from curating inspiration to organizing the models and day of schedule. Her interpretation of our brand values/vision were spot on and far beyond what I could have imagined. Elizabeth was a pleasure to work with, and a modern day professional. I am confident this investment into my business will provide exponential dividends.

  • Elizabeth has a super strong sense for brand, and provided me with photos that strongly aligned and emphasized with the overall aesthetic and direction of my business. The photos themselves are beautiful, and came out even better than I expected. I have a tendency to freeze up and feel awkward when a camera is pointed at me, but Elizabeth guided me through the whole process, putting me at ease, and getting the coolest photos that I have ever had taken of me.

  • Working with Elizabeth was the best photography experience I have ever had. She pays attention to every single detail of the shoot, not to mention thoroughly planning it out beforehand. By touching base on all the details and expressing her own vision before the shoot, she makes sure that every shot, every wardrobe option, and every setting is clearly aligned with your brand. Although I had never met Elizabeth, she made me feel extremely comfortable throughout the shoot and I loved the suggestions that she made for shots - they turned out great! I highly recommend Elizabeth for any and all personal branding needs because she will take your vision and create photography better than you could have dreamed of. 100/10 stars!

  • I had been admiring Elizabeth’s work for months. Thinking how wonderful it would be if I could just Photoshop myself into the pictures and voila. Well, instead, I reached out to Elizabeth. Let me tell you - everything that happened after that was PURE MAGIC. She helped me plan the locations and outfits in a hands-on way I was looking for. But more importantly, she helped me think more about what my brand means beyond just the work it produces... What happened next was FUN! I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and not trying to pose for the camera. I moved! I laughed, talked, walked and Elizabeth captured it all. Point is: branding isn’t a static thing. So whether it be your logo, your photos, your website, or whatever, find a way to make sure it grows with you and your business.

  • Working with Elizabeth on my visual art brand photography has been nothing but joy since the beginning. Over the past year+, I’ve worked with Elizabeth on a variety of shoots and I am always impressed by her expert talent in translating vision to reality. Most recently we’ve worked together on making photographs of the in-progress stage of my recently completed and released painting collection called “coastal winter,” for which it was important for me to have portraits of myself in my new studio space, as well as photos of my work in the space. Elizabeth overdelivered as always and I could not have been happier. Her style always pushes the envelope as a true artist herself, and I am always on the edge of my seat waiting to see what she’ll come up with next!
